On January 26, our guests will discover four new pins, created Patrice Girod, showcasing the Star Wars universe, in the Star Traders store (Disneyland Park).
Who is Patrice Girod?
A true French specialist of the Star Wars saga, Patrice Girod has published Lucasfilm Magazine, the official magazine of the saga and the Starfix cinema magazine, for fifteen years. Thanks to his growing expertise and notoriety, he was also able to go on the filming of the new Star Wars films (including the movie coming out at the end of 2019) alongside the members of the team. He was also an extra in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace before creating conventions for fans. His mastery of the world of the saga also allows him to offer many exhibitions including the one based on Star Wars toys at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris in 2012.
An unprecedented collaboration
For this exclusive collection about the creation of several pins, Patrice Girod has highlighted the Millennium Falcon, legendary vessel of Han Solo. He explains this choice by the unique design of the ship but also by its presence in six films and its popularity in 1977, making it iconic. In addition, the specialist claims to have immediately had the idea of pin's cockpit that opens to unveil the crew on board. Disneyland Paris is proud to present an exclusive collaboration that was born from a desire to delight fans of Star Wars and to honor an iconic saga that has marked generations. This is an exclusive sale (limited edition 500 copies per pin) to be held on January 26, 2019 in the Star Traders store (Discoveryland, Disneyland Park) from 10 am. The reservation will be made via Lineberty application on January 24 at 6 pm. On the day of the sale at 15:00, all unused tickets will be automatically deleted.
Prices: from 16,99€ to 49.99€.
