Fairy tale or Journey over the Seven Seas, yesterday evening Disneyland Paris presented a preview of the new "Festival of Pirates and Princesses" season in an emblematic Paris venue, the Palais Garnier. The evening was also the opportunity to announce an important gastronomic surprise for the month of April.
Paris, March 10 - To mark the upcoming launch of the "Festival of Pirates and Princesses", Disneyland Paris last night organised a grand gala evening in the heart of Paris, at the Palais Garnier. Disney characters were on hand during the magical event to unveil the first surprises of this new season.
Extending the 25th anniversary festivities, the “Festival of Pirates and Princesses” is the brand new season that will unfold before the eyes of guests to the Disneyland Park from March 31 to May 31.
Mickey and Minnie surrounded by Princesses: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida without forgetting the heroine Moana - and Pirates: Jake (Jake and the Never Land Pirates), Captain Hook, Smee and also Peter Pan and Wendy welcomed their 600 guests in a sumptuous setting specially designed for the Grand Foyer of the Palais Garnier. Accompanied by ten dancers, the "Pirates and Princesses" presented a preview of the innovative choreography that they will have the pleasure of putting on for Disneyland Park guests from March 31, opening date of this new season.
Together with Disneyland Paris Présidente Catherine Powell, numerous personalities from the world of the arts, dance and television attended the gala evening entitled "Festival Pirates and Princesses". Among those there, were the beautiful Miss France 2018 Maëva Coucke, journalist Melissa Theuriau, actresses Bérénice Bejo, Laurence Arné and Virginie Efira, accompanied by their children who donned their most beautiful princess and pirates costumes for the occasion!
Invited to the Palais Garnier to awaken the taste buds of our princesses and pirates for an evening, Chef Jean Imbert took the opportunity to officially announce his collaboration with Disneyland Paris. Beginning on April 7, Jean Imbert will be taking over the kitchens of the Disneyland Hotel Founders Restaurant for 60 exclusive dinners, presented as a culinary journey through Disney films and designed around a philosophy of eco-friendly and local cuisine.
